Jennifer Coolidge, a versatile actress who plays a variety of characters and also is an innovative comedian. She is most well-known for her role as Stifler's mother in American Pie (1999). Her birth date was August 28, 1961, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA in the United States to Gretchen (Knauff) and Paul Constant Coolidge who was an industrial plastics producer. Young Coolidge was dreaming of becoming a singer. She graduated from Emerson College and Norwell High School in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre. She then moved to New York, where she was a member of the Gotham City Improv Group. After that, she moved to New York , and was a member of the Gotham City Improv group. She was a long-standing participant in "The Groundlings" which was a comedy troupe. Coolidge made her TV debut in a guest role on NBC's Seinfeld (1989), playing a sexy masseuse who doesn't give her services as a professional to boyfriend Jerry in an episode from 1993. She had a regular role on the ABC sketch show She TV (1994), later, she briefly appeared on Fox's Saturday Night Special (1996), where she was a writer and cast member. Coolidge made her screen debut in the big screen as a nurse in Not of This Earth (1995) and later in the courtroom comedy Trial and Error (1997). She continued to work on television and appeared in smaller roles in several feature films. Coolidge's breakthrough role was in American Pie (1999). She played a hot mother who is a booze-loving, drunken woman who charms her son. In American Pie 2 (2001) she recreated the role. Then, she reprized her role as "Paulette" in the role of Reese Witherspoon in the "Legally Blonde" franchise. However, she lost the part of "Lynette Scavo" on Desperate Housewives (2004) to Felicity Huffman Coolidge was a regular on a variety of TV comedy shows and made guest appearances on Frasier (1993) and Sex and the City (1998). Then, she landed an ongoing role on the ABC sitcom Joey (2004), as "Bobbie Morgenstern", Joey's agent, playing in 37 episodes across two seasons.
