Rosario Isabel Dawson Bio

Rosario Isabel Dawson was born on May 9 1979. She is an American actress, producer , and director. In 1995 she made her feature film debut in the independent drama Kids. Her roles in the following films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002). Dawson also voices for Warner Bros./DC Comics and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. For her role as Rent, Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Award in the category of Best actress in Comedy. Dawson was born on the 9th of May, 1979 in New York City. Isabel Celeste, her mother, is Afro-Cuban. Isabel was 16 years old when Rosario was born. Isabel never married Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris. Rosario was one of her mothers who married Greg Dawson (a construction worker). In the marriage, Dawson has a half-brother, Clay, who is four years older than her. Dawson is also known for her roles in comic-book adaptations. She portrayed Ahsoka Tano in the Mandalorian's second season in 2020 , and will appear in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. In addition, she will be appearing in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy show created by Dwayne John that will air in 2021.
