Lea Katherine Thompso

Thompson was born on May 31st of 1961 in Rochester (Minnesota) The actress was one of five children of Clifford Barry Thompson, a musician. She is the sister of Coleen Goodrich, Shannon Katona and Barry Katona. Her mother is of Irish descent.She studied ballet in her early years and started dancing professionally by the age of 14, securing scholarship opportunities to San Francisco Ballet, the Pennsylvania Ballet, and the American Ballet Theatre.When she was 20 years aged and performing professionally with American Ballet Theatre's Studio Company (then known as ABT II), the time was right to make a decision on whether she wanted to move to the main company. Mikhail Baryshnikov was at the time the artistic director. He said to her "You are an amazing dancer however your body is bulky." That was her "epiphany" that she revealed that this was the moment that made me decide to give up dancing and to stop being a ballet dancer. It was a great experience because I could've been banging my head on the wall for 10 years. "[ She switched her focus towards acting. In the year 20 she moved to New York with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elisabeth Shue and various others from Burger King ads. In 1982, CareerThompson starred in Cecily "Sissy" who played Live-action interactive video game dubbed MysteryDisc: Murder! Anyone? Jaws 3-Dwas her film debut in 1983. Additionally, I had claimed that I knew how to water ski. But I didn't.
