Alyson Lee Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on the 24th of March 1974. American actor and TV host She is a native of the United States of America. Her roles include Willow Rosenberg (1997-2003) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lily Aldrin (2005-2014), for which she received a People's Choice Award in 2009 and Michelle Flaherty (1999-2012). Hannigan is the sole child of Emilie (Posner) Haas (a real estate agent) and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan's mother is Jewish and her father is Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. Hannigan moved to Hollywood in her twelfth year along with her mom. While in Santa Barbara, her father was an agent for casting. She auditioned. After finishing high school, she went to California State University Northridge. In Northridge she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and graduated with a psychology degree. Hannigan's first movie appearance was in the film My Stepmother Is an Alien in 1988. Seth Green was one of her co-stars and later was her partner on Buffy. Her first TV character came in 1989, when she was made an actress in the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was only 14 years old old when she became a babysitter for Bob's children. Saget was Hannigan's How I Met Your Mother costar. Hannigan was later chosen to portray Willow Rosenberg, Buffy Summers her best friend in the show on TV Buffy the Vampire Slayer In 1997, she was given national attention. She also watched over Bob Saget’s children on the television series How I Met Your Mom. Angel requested that she play Willow's character in a couple of episodes.
