Alona Tal

 Alona Tal, an Israeli American performer and actress, was born on the 20th of October 1983 in Herzliya. Her professional career began shortly after her service as a member of the Israeli Defense Forces. Her acting debut was in an Israeli film in 2003. She also was a part of two TV shows in the country. She she also tried her hand at music making several tracks with the Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal relocated with her sister to New York in order to be away from her career. She collaborated with Wyclef Jean, one of the Haitian artist in the hit song "Party to Damascus". She also made a name for herself as a star on American TV, starting with a regular role on the series Veronica Mars: She originally auditioned for the lead role but creator Rob Thomas wrote a new character just for her. Tal eventually got an ongoing role in the CBS series. After his move to New York, he appeared in two TV shows from Israel. Recorded a song in collaboration with singer Wyclef Jean. Hebrew is her first language. The actress came in second place for the role of Veronica in Veronica Mars (2004).Originally she auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the title role. Thomas liked her so much that he made the recurring role of Meg Manning specifically for her. She was part of the Israel Defense Forces. Both of her parents are Jewish The father of her is a Turkish/Jewish man, and her mother is Polish/Jewish. She plays Adrian Monk's wife who was killed in the last episode of Monk (2002).
