Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter, born on July 23 1970 was an American actress. She was Cordelia Chase in the series of supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also starred in Charmed (2004) as well as Kendall Casablanca's part in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was featured in The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada,[disputed - discuss] daughter of Christine Carpenter, a bird sanctuary worker, and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman high school in Las Vegas. Carpenter was also a part of a dance and song group that was a part of Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter's family relocated to Rosario Beach (Baja California, Mexico) at the age of Carpenter was 15. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. After graduating, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. After returning to San Diego, she worked as a clerk at a video store as well as an aerobics teacher and as a property manager. She was a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football club in 1991. The team moved to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. assaulted her and two of her male friends as they were swimming in San Diego. He was a former San Diego cop and serial sexual predator who tried to subdue them using a gun. In the midst of the struggle the two friends as well as Hubbard were shotand forced Hubbard to flee the scene. Both of them were able to escape the assault. Hubbard was arrested, found guilty, and sentenced to 56 years of prison for a series of robberies and rapes. Carpenter stole Hubbard's flashlight an official police flashlight, off the shore. The flashlight was a crucial element of evidence against Hubbard.
