Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Anne Vincie (born on December 10, 1987) is an American journalist and sportscaster. She is employed by the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and is a presenter on their weekly news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's interest in stock car racing started when she was given an entry pass to the pit lane, and following her graduation from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a journalist at Langley Speedway. Vincie gained attention when her self-made video blogs on NASCAR were posted on the stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 in 1987. Her family moved to Warrenton shortly after Vincie was accepted into high school. Vincie is the daughter of John Vincie and Margaret, and has a younger sister. Vincie's mother Eleanor N. Logan was an instructor in fifth grade, while her grandfather was on the faculty at Bridgewater College. Since her early years she was interested in journalism. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School. She participated in the track and field, and also worked as a director for the school's wrestling team for four years. She won the 800m event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to Al Pearce, who mentored her. He also provided lots of information. Vincie graduated with a bachelor's from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie was an intern for the athletics department of the school, and also worked for the USAR Pro Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. After securing a pitlane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race, Vincie completed a senior dissertation on the gender gap in auto racing. She cites Krista Voda as well as Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
