Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (NOH-vitch; Polish: born on November 8, 1985) is a Canadian actress from Canada. Her credits include Andy Jensen, on ABC Family's Kyle XY, and Lacy Rand on Syfy's brief-lived science fiction drama series Caprica. Emily Hartwell (born Maya Hartwell), is her sci-fi series Continuum. Recently, she was spotted as Sandy on the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz she is a Polish-American she attended ninth grade in Poland. She lived there along with her uncle. She also attended a school in Jelenia Gora. Later, she studied at Vancouver Film School. When her brother introduced her to the Pulp Fiction, she became attracted to acting. The actress began her career in 2002 by appearing in the TV series Jeremiah and John Doe.From 2007 to 2009 she was the character as Andy Jensen on Kyle XY. In 2008 she starred in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand as a regular character in the television drama Caprica which she starred in with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. Later, she appeared in the show Hellcats. In 2012, she starred in the role of Emily in Jane Espenson's second series of her romantic comedy web series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz also played the role as Samantha in The Green Inferno, an Eli Roth horror film. The Green Inferno, although it was shot in 2012, was released globally in the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast to play Angela in Volition, a science fiction thriller film. It was released in 2020. In the year 2019, Apanowicz played the role of Sandy in the second series of the Netflix film You.
