Noureen DeWulf

Noureen DeWulf (nee Ahmed) is an American actress from the United States. She is best known for her roles in films such as West Bank Story (2005), Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and The Back-up Plan (2010). In 2012-2014, she starred on the sitcom Anger Management as Lacey. DeWulf was born Noureen Ahmed in New York City to Gujarati Indian parents who were from Pune, Maharashtra, India and was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She was educated as a Nizari Ismaili Muslim. There are two sisters older than her. Aziza, her older sister is a professor in Boston of law at Northeastern University. Sara her younger sister does law in San Francisco. DeWulf has studied theatre and international relations at Boston University's School for the Arts. She moved to Los Angeles after graduating to pursue acting as a career. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati well. DeWulf started her acting career in the Oscar Award-winning short film West Bank Story, where she played the lead character of Fatima who is a singer and dancing Palestinian cashier who falls in love with an Israeli soldier. Since then, she has appeared in comedy TV shows and in films. She was a regular character on NBC's Outsourced as well as TNT's Hawthorne from 2009 to 2011. DeWulf also appeared in Maneater, a Lifetime mini-series. She co-starred with Matthew McConaughey in the romantic comedy film Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) as well as portrayed Jeremy Piven in The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009). She was also a star in The Taqwacores (2010), which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2010.
