Markie Post

Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek, California. She began her career in television and film productions like "Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Then, she created projects like Double Dare (1976). She has also appeared in TV shows such as 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (2001). Perhaps she is most well-known for her part in "Christine Sullivan" who was an actress and Night Court star (1984). From 1984 until 1992, she played in 156 episodes. She was the daughter of Marylee (Armstrong) Post, poet, and noted nuclear physical scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918 - April 7 15th, 2015). Two daughters, Katie Ross (born June 26, 1987), and Daisy Ross (born on March 30 the 30th of March, 1990) was her second marriage to Michael A. Ross. Born in Palo Alto, California and raised in Walnut Creek. Attended Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California; she was an athlete. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Lewis & Clark College, Portland Oregon. She was a trick roper in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). She was cremated , and her remains were returned to Michael A. Ross. She was a lifelong Democrat. Markie Post, who was three months removed from her 71st birthday on November 4 2021, died on the 7th of August. She died 27 days after fellow Night Court (1984) co-star Charles Robinson, who passed away on July 11, 2021. Even though the two shows were completely separate, Night Court (1984) ended in 1992 , with her character, Christine Sullivan, leaving for Washington DC, and Hearts Afire (1992) began in the same year, with Post as a new character Georgie, who had a chance to work in Washington DC (and later moving to a town that was smaller).
