Kim Cattrall
Kim Victoria
Cattrall (born 21 August 1956) is an British and Canadian actor from Canada and
the UK. She is most famous for her performance in Sex and the City's Samantha
Jones (1998-2004), in which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and four
Golden Globe Award nominations. In 2002, she also won the Golden Globe Award
for Best Supporting Artistress. In the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex
and the City 2 (2010), she reprised the part of Samantha Jones. Cattrall's film
debut was in Rosebud (1975) and she would go on to play various roles on
television. Through films like Ticket To Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984),
Hold-Up (85), City Limits(85), Big Trouble in Little China [86(also known as
Mannequin] (1987), Masquerade in 1988), Midnight Crossing in 1989, and The
Return of the Musketeers in 1989. Cattrall soon became a household name. There
were several times she worked with director Bob Clark, appearing in four of his
films: Tribute (1980), Porky's (1981), Turk 182 (1985) and Baby Geniuses
(1999). Her credits in films comprise The Bonfire of the Vanities (90), Star
Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country(91) as well as Split Second(92), Above
Suspicion (1995) as well as 15 Minutes (2001), Crossroads(2002), Ice Princess
