Mila Kunis
American
actress born on August 14th 1984. She first appeared as Jackie Burkhart on the
Fox television series That's 70s Show (1998-2006) at the age of 14 years old.
From 1999 on, Kunis has voiced Meg Griffin on the Fox animated show Family Guy.
Her breakthrough role in a film was in 2008 when she played Rachel in the
romantic comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. She received more critical acclaim
and awards for her performance in the psychological thriller Black Swan (2010),
where she won the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor or Actress,
as well as nominations for the SAG Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best
Supporting Actress. Other notable films she has appeared in include the
action-oriented films Max Payne (2008) and The Book of Eli (2010) as well as
the romantic comedy Friends with Benefits (2011) The fantasy film Oz the Great
and Powerful (2013) as the Wicked Witch of the West as well as the comedy films
Ted (2012), Bad Moms (2016) and its sequel, A Bad Moms Christmas (2017). Milena
Markovna Kunis was the child of a Ukrainian Jewish family. She was born on 14
August 1984 in Chernivtsi (now Ukraine) to her Ukrainian Jewish mother and
father. Mark Kunis, her mechanical engineer father, is employed as taxi driver.
Kunis has an older brother, Michael. Her parents were Holocaust survivors.
Russian is her mother tongue.
